The National Audubon Society considers climate change to be a significant threat to birds and therefore supports renewable energy development. As solar technology and other energy improvements become widely available, it is imperative that consideration is given to those that face disproportionate energy burdens and that the ability to advance renewable energy and increase energy efficiency be equitably distributed.
