Neale Woods Nature Center
Site Description: Owned and operated as a nature center by the Fontenelle Nature Association, Neale Woods consists of 554 acres of floodplain and upland woodlands and restored prairie just north of Omaha.
Ornithological Summary: A checklist of 202 species has been compiled, which includes 35 warbler species as well as species of state concern such as Yellow- and Black-billed Cuckoo, Whip-poor-will, Red-headed Woodpecker, Acadian Flycatcher, Wood Thrush, Bell’s Vireo, Dickcissel, and Grasshopper Sparrow.
